Stroke Rehabilitation at Osteorehab

Strokes can cause weakness or paralysis on one side of the body, and can result in problems with coordination and balance. Many people also experience extreme tiredness (fatigue) in the first few weeks after a stroke, and may also have difficulty sleeping, making them even more tired.

As part of your rehabilitation, here at OSTEOREHAB you will be seen by our specialised physiotherapists, who'll assess the extent of any physical disability before creating any treatment plan.

Your treatment will often involve Special PNF training by Dr. Rohit Gupta, focusing on areas such as exercises to improve your muscle strength and overcome all functional, balance, coordination and walking difficulties.

Dr. Rohit Gupta along with his team, will work with you by setting realistic goals. As your condition improves, more demanding long-term goals, such as standing or walking, will be set. A caretaker, such as a family member, will be encouraged to become involved in your physiotherapy treatment. You will also be taught simple exercises you can do at home.

We at OSTEOREHAB, work with the best Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Therapy, which gives you the most integrated outcomes for your recovery.
